BEST PRODUCT EVER!!!, July 24, 2004 Reviewer: Computer Expert (Pittsburgh, PA USA) - I am a computer programmer/webmaster, so I know A LOT about computers. When I purchased this product, I bought it because I needed a cheap dvd burner for a project I was working on. I bought it thinking it wasn't going to last that long, but I just needed it long enough to do a few projects. I have since found that this was the easiest piece of computer equipment I have ever set up and used. They include a very expensive software FREE - Roxio CD and DVD Creator - which is THE fastest, easiest, and coolest software to burn CD's and DVD's. This drive has lasted a long time, and it was so cheap!!! I relize that this is not a major brand name, but it is much better than Sony or any other major brand. And as for there TECH SUPPORT, i got right through, spoke to an American guy, and solved my minor problem in under 8 minutes. The guy who wrote the review before me has NO idea what the heck he is talking about. Believe me, this is a wonderful product!!!

don't buy if you need it to work!, September 17, 2004 Reviewer: Gregory T. Kurth-ford "I hate pacific digital" (USA) - Buyer beware must be Pacific Digital's mantra. The USB 2.0 dvd burner I bought from them died in under six months. The burner, a lite-on, was fine it was their enclosure that failed. Their customer service was horrendous as was the shipping that I was forced to pay to receive replacement parts, which still have not arrived. If you are looking for a product that will give you reliable service and lasting performance STAY AWAY from pacific digital!!!!
